Custom cups make your design part of the serving experience. Stock cups start with an existing product listing. The right comparison brings the cup specification, artwork process, complete cost, and intended use into one brief. Gokul supplies custom-printed plastic cups by quote; the details are confirmed for each project.
Short answer
Compare a complete proposed product and service process. A low printed-cup unit price is not enough if the artwork, accessories, or timing remain unclear.
Choose the cup before planning the print
Describe the capacity, color or transparency, serving conditions, and any required accessories. Ask the supplier to identify the proposed cup. Similar-looking cups may differ in material, rim dimensions, or print area, and a stock catalog item is not automatically an available custom-print option.
Use the same brief for every supplier you approach. If one proposes a substitute, record the differences explicitly. This gives you a fair comparison of two workable options and avoids choosing on a photo that leaves an important specification unanswered.
Agree on the artwork review before production
Tell the team whether you have a logo, a finished design, or an idea that still needs preparation. Specify the intended colors and placement. Ask what files are required, what the review process includes, and who must approve the final version. Do not assume a screen preview guarantees the exact appearance on transparent or colored material.
If a physical sample or printed proof matters to the decision, request it in the brief. Availability, cost, and timing need confirmation for the selected setup. Keep the approved artwork and the product specification together so a later revision cannot silently become part of the order.
Compare the complete quote at the same quantity
List the cup cost, print or setup charges, design preparation, accessories, packaging, and fulfillment charges that apply. Some suppliers may combine these amounts. Ask what the quoted total includes and whether the same charges apply when reordering unchanged artwork.
Divide the confirmed total by the usable cups in the order. Compare that with a stock order for a suitable cup at the quantity you actually need. If a custom order has to be larger than you need, show the extra inventory and total spend separately. The lower unit cost is not automatically the better order for your available space or cash budget.
| Field | What to record |
|---|---|
| Product | Exact cup, capacity, material, color, and compatible accessories |
| Printing | Placement, colors, preparation, and approval process |
| Order | Confirmed order size, usable quantity, and complete quoted amount |
| Service | Named contact, milestones, change handling, and fulfillment terms |
Compare service through specific commitments
Ask how questions and artwork changes are handled, when production is scheduled, and what information is needed before the schedule can be confirmed. Separate artwork preparation, approval, production, and delivery. A fast response to an inquiry is helpful, but it is not a promised completion date.
For a fixed event or opening date, share that date at the start and ask what the supplier can commit to. Record the agreed milestones and the process if a specification changes. This is more useful than an unsupported claim that one supplier is always faster or offers better service.
Give Gokul the same brief you use to compare
Send your cup size, intended use, quantity, artwork status, destination, and target date. Include any required lid, sample, or review step. Our sales team will confirm the available cup and printing setup, order size, pricing, and schedule for the proposed project.
WhatsApp and text buttons below open an editable inquiry to the sales team. You can also use the custom cup page to start a website quote request. Sending a message does not place a paid order or approve production; save the final confirmed quote before deciding how to proceed.
Your quick checklist
- Use the same cup brief for each supplier.
- Confirm what artwork review includes.
- Compare complete totals and usable quantities.
- Record separate approval, production, and fulfillment milestones.
- Keep the final artwork and quote together.
