Who this is for

Licensed Illinois retailers getting paperwork ready for a wholesale account. Not for consumers, and not a stand-in for an accountant or IDOR.

What a resale certificate / CRT-61 is

Illinois retailers use a Certificate of Resale (often called CRT-61) when buying goods to sell again. Form names and filing steps come from Illinois tax authorities.

Why wholesalers ask for it

It shows you are a retailer buying for resale, along with any category licenses. It is account paperwork, not a coupon.

How this fits a Gokul account
